After a tumultuous history since it opened in 2017, this luxury hotel closed down in 2020, then changed ownership and its name in November 2021, and will reopen as the Paradox Hotel Vancouver in April 2022 after extensive renovations.

The hotel’s unique architecture is an eye-catching, twisting tower designed by famed architect Arthur Erikson and the stylishly modern décor is highlighted by floor-to-ceiling windows welcoming in views of the Vancouver skyline.

The hotel will be in their soft-opening phase for the month of April, so all the kinks and issues with opening a new hotel should be worked out by the time we arrive.

The management team is the same team behind Summit Lodge, where we hosted our Signature Takeover, the Winter Lifestyle Takeover, from 2012 to 2019, so when a serendipitous opportunity came up to host an unique event at the new hotel, we didn’t hesitate to accept!

Instead of a full takeover, the Vancouver Playcation will take over a number of floors depending on the number of rooms booked – there are a total of 147 guest rooms, with 8 to 10 rooms per floor. We will be booking floor by floor, which means that room availability will change regularly, which is why you get to list your top 3 room choices when you place your order, and which also means prices will increase as we book more floors.

Every floor that we book will be exclusive for our group, plus we will have exclusive usage of the indoor pool & outdoor hot tub space nightly from 7pm to midnight, which will become our clothing-optional Chill Lounge with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks each night.

In addition, we will have a Hospitality Lounge with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, plus a dedicated Work Lounge for those of us who have to work on Friday – so instead of working from home, you can work from the Playcation!

We will also have a number of theme rooms, including our infamous Sex Machine Room, with a Sybian, Motobunny, and more, along with a Mini-Dungeon for you to explore.

The Vancouver Playcation is a BYOB event so please use a pool-safe drink container – no glass!

Every room is luxuriously furnished and crafted to be an inviting respite from urban bustle. You can Netflix & Chill in the oversized beds with leather and chrome headboards and all the high-tech gadgets like 55″+ Samsung flatscreens and Crestron® multi-lingual touchpads that allow you to fine-tune your scene by controlling the electric blinds, shades, lighting and temperature.

Check out the Nublado Italian marble bathrooms decked out with heated floors, rain showers, FIG+YARROW bathroom amenities and velvety cotton robes. Some rooms even have a free standing bathtub and/or balcony so you can choose the room that best suits your desires.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Credit for the full amount will be issued and can be used for any future events
