NU NYE GALA

NU Lifestyle is a brand new social network, founded by Jason Risi and Joe Hopkins in Calgary. It is designed specifically for those in the Lifestyle and it is build on the Facebook platform so the user interface will be very familiar and the learning curve is dramatically reduced.

It is free to join and you can opt into the paid account, which included ID verification, so you can feel safe interacting on the site knowing that everyone with a verified account is vetted and is a real person.

One of the many reasons why we decided to collaborate with NU Lifestyle is because we have been looking for alternate methods to Facebook so that we can have a space where everyone can be part of the community and like us, safety is very important to them as well, as evident in their mission statement:
“We fuse cutting-edge technology with lifestyle innovation to create seamless, secure experiences. From curated content to intelligent ticketing, our platforms are built to inspire, connect, and protect—empowering users to engage boldly, with safety engineered into every click.” 

We plan to move our Facebook groups to NU Lifestyle by the end of 2025, so our 2026 events and attendees groups will be hosted on NU Lifestyle so you have some time to check out the site and join when you are ready.

This NYE Gala is a FULL hotel takeover at the Acclaim Hotel by Clique Calgary, and includes canapes, cash bar, DJs, dancing, sparkling wine at midnight, the After-Party on the Party Floor and some special surprises. There is also the option to add on extra nights pre and post Takeover, and the hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle for those who are flying into Calgary.

As this event is in collaboration with NU Lifestyle, and it is a vetted event, you will need to be a Pro member in order to place your order through NU Lifestyle.

You will need to book a hotel room when you buy your tickets. There are many room options for you to choose from but we do recommend booking early as some room types have limited quantity.

There are Pet-Friendly rooms on the ground floor, with a $25 Pet Fee.

Studio Queen suites are junior suites with a partition between the bed and the sitting area. They are equipped with microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, bathrobes, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, safe, blackout blinds, air conditioning, pillow-top beds with plush bedding, work desk and chair, unlimited local calls, flat-screen TV with cable and satellite channels.

• Studio Queen Suites with 1 queen bed and pullout double sofa bed – 344 sqft

1-BEDROOM SUITES:

All Suites are equipped with a a pullout couch in the living room, and a balcony. They are equipped with microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, bathrobes, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, safe, blackout blinds, air conditioning, pillow-top beds with plush bedding, work desk and chair, unlimited local calls, flat-screen TV with cable and satellite channels.

• 1-Bedroom King Suites with 1 king bed and pullout queen sofa bed – 700 sqft

You can add extra nights Pre-Takeover, which includes the following bonus events:
